My name is Michael Christon and this is the Recession Buster Series blog. As I write these words there's talk of recovery, but nonetheless times are still hard, companies are still falling, people are losing their jobs, and money is still scarce.

For a small business this could still so easily spell disaster...

- "People don't have the money to buy from me anymore"
- "Whether now or later, my business will be hit by this recession"
- "I'm sure I'm losing customers!"

The thing is, none of the above comments need be true...

Great business-thinking is still great business-thinking, whether in a recession or not. So what you will find in these pages is just that... great business-thinking to make and keep your great business.

Everything suggested and discussed is tried-and-tested during my many years of working with small businesses. This isn't 'get rich quick' nonsense where riches are promised and never delivered. No, this is about making your small business recession-proof, by keeping it simple and founded on solid business development basics.
